As it says on the about me section, I am into juggling. A few years ago, when I went into the store hyjinx to buy my torches, the guy that worked there invited me to a jugglers meeting/club type of a thing that they used to do every sunday at trolley square. I never did get around to going, because I had church later in the afternoon, and couldn't ever make it, and after going on my mission, i decided to try and find out about it, and see what it was like. I searched google, for salt lake juggling clubs, and found an email address for Bill King. This is the conversation that I had with him.

Ive never been before to the sunday afernoon thing, is anyone welcome,
what should i bring? Do people just show each other new tricks, or
what kind of thing is involved with it? I really want to get back
into juggling.

Oh, I wish I had read my email Saturday!!!!
Yes, OF COURSE you will be MORE than welcome! We are a very friendly bunch,
and very, very casual. Please feel free to bring whatever you want to
bring. But even if you come with nothing, almost all of us bring a bunch of
extra things. And we happily share our toys! It's polite to ask, but
pretty much everyone will say yes.
Please, please feel free to walk up to ANYONE and ask anything you want.
Introduce yourself. I won't be there for the next two Sundays, but that
doesn't matter. We are getting at least 6 or more people of ALL skill
levels every week.
We are meeting almost every Sunday at the main library in Salt Lake City.
Usually we meet from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm (actually, they want us out by
4:45 pm, and we instantly do whatever they want us to do because we want to
keep them happy so they will let us keep coming back ).
Oh. We usually meet in the large meeting room in the SOUTHWEST corner of
the 4th (Fourth) floor.
Sometimes that room is reserved and we can't use it. Then we meet in the
THIRD (3rd) floor meeting room, which is exactly like the one on the 4th
floor and directly under it.
One of us is virtually ALWAYS there right at 1:00 pm. I usually try to show
up at 2:00, but mostly don't make it until 3:00. I'm the old guy with the
grey hair and beard.
Believe me, you will be warmly welcomed. Even if you just stand there and
watch long enough, someone will notice your and come over. (We do all get
focused on what we are doing and forget to be polite ).
Feel free to approach anyone. They will be nice.
I don't know what your skill level is, but it doesn't matter. We don't make
fun of anyone until they get really good . We just have fun and play.
There is a lot of interaction with most of us, even though a couple of
people tend to work on their own stuff. But even they will mostly work with
you if you ask. I ALWAYS WILL, but I won't be there again until the 18th.
Did I say we have all ages? We do. We also have several women. One of our
best jugglers is a junior at West High School. She started the juggling
club there. Sometimes we go over and work with her club.

Good!
It's always wonderful to have new people join us. You WILL be welcomed
.
Since we were forced to move to the Library, most of us like it BETTER than
Trolley Square. And so far there have ALWAYS been people there the whole
time, from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm (Well, actually, 4:45 pm, which is when
the guards want us out.)

Sadly I never did get a chance to check it out, and now my church is in the afternoon again, but I hope to be able to get into it soon.

That's a cool post. Juggling is a cool skill. Have you thought of a career in clowning? Anywho on to the comments. Obviously it is hard to edit past emails because they already happened. One suggestion I would have though is perhaps a little more detail in that first paragraph. Is bill the same guy at the store? Where does one learn on the internet about juggling clubs. Also maybe some links to this juggling club would help if they were available.
I'm a bit disappointed that you didn't go to the meeting yet. Where's your dedication man!? Bill seemed so excited for you to go.
The format of the e-mails on your blog was nice. It helped separate who was e-mailing whom.
I guess you could also make comments between the e-mails but it isn't really necessary, I'm just trying to think of things to say.
